Imagine depositing checks into your account from the comfort of your home or anywhere you have access to the internet! No more waiting to get to the credit union. No more searching for ATMs that accept deposits.

Mobile Deposit Capture allows you to deposit checks to your Diamond Credit Union savings or checking accounts using the camera on your mobile device and the Diamond Credit Union Mobile App. Deposits are available instantly up to $1,500*. Just look for the Check Deposits icon after logging into the Mobile App. The app is free to download and use.

Instant Deposits Online allows you to submit check deposits through NetBranch Online Banking into your Diamond checking or savings accounts and have immediate access to those funds, up to $1500*, anytime 24/7. Once your checks are received, the remaining amount of those funds may be available to you.

What is Instant Deposits Online?
Instant Deposits Online allows you to submit check deposits online through NetBranch Online Banking from any computer into your Diamond Checking or Savings accounts and have immediate access to those funds, up to $1500*, anytime 24/7. Once your checks are received, the remaining amount of those funds may be available to you.

How do I access Instant Deposits Online?
Access is easy! Just sign into NetBranch then click the All Services tab and choose the Instant Deposits icon. If you are a member and not already enrolled in NetBranch, stop by any branch or click here for quick and easy enrollment online.

How does Instant Deposits Online work?
Once you are registered, you can go into NetBranch and any time, click on the All Services tab and choose the Instant Deposits icon. Complete the information required about your check deposit, then be sure we receive your checks via postal mail within ten (10) days of your online transaction. We’ll credit your account immediately, so the funds, up to $1,500*, will be available for you to pay bills online, write checks, withdraw as cash or transfer to other accounts the moment you complete your deposit. Upon request, Diamond will provide pre-printed mailing labels to help ensure that we process your checks quickly and accurately.

How much can I deposit?
The maximum single deposit amount for Instant Deposits Online is $10,000. This amount can consist of 1 to 20 checks. There is no limit to the number of deposits you can make in a single day, however, we will not advance more than $1,500 at any given time, regardless of number of deposits or deposit amounts.

How many days do I have to submit my checks after I complete my deposit online?
We must receive your checks within ten (10) days of the online transaction date. Use the pre-printed mailing labels (available in NetBranch or at any member service center) and drop them in the mail.

Is Instant Deposits Online available to all members?
Due to the unique nature of this product, certain qualifications exist to qualify for Instant Deposits Online. For instance, you must be a member in good standing, over 18 years of age, with an open checking account, and have been a member for 30 days or more to be eligible.

Which of my accounts will accept deposits through Instant Deposits Online?
Any Diamond Checking, Savings, Money Market, or Club account will accept deposits.

Can I deposit to more than one account type at a time?
Yes. Once logged in, you may choose your account type and distribution amount to each account from your total deposit amount.

Can I submit my checks at a Diamond Branch or ATM to ensure that my deposit is received within the ten days?
No. Online deposits should be mailed as instructed to ensure proper processing.

*Certain conditions and restrictions apply; limited to $1,500 release.

You can authorize direct deposit of your payroll, Social Security, retirement, Veteran’s Administration benefits or almost any recurring deposits. With direct deposit, your check is automatically and safely deposited into your Diamond Credit Union account. You don’t have to worry about coming in person to the credit union to make your deposit. On payday, your money is right where you need it.

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection is a standard feature of Diamond Checking Accounts. An overdraft on a checking account occurs when a transaction is posted to your checking account but there is not enough money in your checking account to cover the total amount of the transaction. We call it an “Oops” and it happens to most of us at some point. To assist in these situations, Diamond offers three forms of Overdraft Protection:

Share Overdraft Transfer* – If you choose to designate another account as your transfer account, such as your savings, money is transferred from that account to cover the transaction.

Standard Overdraft Service – If no funds are available to transfer or you have not designated any accounts for Overdraft Transfer, we may at our discretion, authorize and pay the transaction for you.** This service is standard for checks and other transactions made using your checking account number, and automatic bill payments.

Additional Overdraft Service – In order to have the Standard Overdraft Service available to you for ATM and everyday debit card transactions, you must OPT-IN.

*A $5 fee is assessed for each transfer occurrence. **This results in your account being overdrawn and a fee being incurred per transaction. Diamond reserves the right to require a member to pay an overdraft immediately or on demand. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts. *** Members must call Diamond to execute the fee reversal. Must be a member in good standing. One overdraft fee reversal per checking account, per year. Diamond is not responsible for fees imposed by other parties.

One Oops on Us!

Everyone Makes Mistakes! At Diamond, you have the benefit of having Standard Overdraft Protection on your Checking Accounts, with the option of adding additional protection. When you use this service, a fee is incurred for each transaction. However…with Diamond Checking Accounts, you’re allowed One “Oops” on Us!™ per year on your checking account! We’ll reverse the overdraft fee one time, per checking account, per year!*

Skip-A-Payment

Diamond’s Skip-A-Payment* service can offer some relief to your financial obligations. Skip your Diamond loan payment and put the money to better use elsewhere!

Now, you can easily request to skip your payment online through NetBranch or on Diamond’s Mobile Banking app!

Submit a request to skip a payment on your:

  • New or Used Auto Loan
  • Home Equity Loan or Line
  • Personal Loan or Line

To process your skip online: Just log into your account as you usually do through NetBranch. Once logged in, at the top left is the sub-menu icon (3 bars). Click the menu then choose Skip-A-Payment. Your available loans or lines to skip will appear in the Select An Account drop down menu. Follow the steps to submit your request.

To process your skip from the mobile app: Log into your account as usual. In the sub-menu (3 bars) choose Skip-A-Payment, choose from the available accounts, and follow the steps to complete your request.

Budgeting Worksheet

The road towards financial stability begins with the ability to balance expenses against income. Creating a plan for spending and saving enables you to determine if you have enough money for the lifestyle you desire or the ability to achieve specific goals. Setting up a budget begins with outlining the specifics of your current situation by using a budgeting worksheet.

How to Set Up a Budget:

  1. Total your income. Start by listing your “take home” income, which is the amount you have after taxes.
  2. List your expenses. Chart out specific reoccurring expenses such as rent/mortgage, utilities, cell phone, and loans or credit cards. Set aside a portion each week for utilities so that there will be enough in your savings account when the bills come due. You can even set up specific savings accounts for each of your bills and transfer money from your paycheck to these savings accounts after each pay. Don’t forget to calculate living expenses such as food, household goods and toiletries, and transportation.
  3. State your specific goals. Keep in mind the little pleasures such as dinners out, movies, and special occasions to longer-term items such as a house, car, or vacation.
  4. The bottom line. After subtracting your expenses from your income, you will be able to see the amount of money you have left over to divide among your goals. This is the money you have to spend or save as you wish. If balance after expenses is negative, look for ways to cut down your monthly expenses such as changing your cable/internet subscription or cell phone plan.
