Board Election
The 74th Annual Membership Meeting Will Be Held Tuesday, March 2, 2021
Diamond Credit Union Board of Directors Election Nominations Acting Board Secretary Mark V. Wallace announces three nominees for the Board of Directors:
Position 1 – Pat Austin
“How a business responds to help their community during trying times says everything about where their priorities lie. When the financial stability of our community was threatened by Covid-19, Diamond’s response was to create service solutions that could have a direct impact and provide relief from financial stress. It is this ability, to quickly make decisions at a local level, why I strongly believe local financial institutions are vital to a community. And I for one, am thrilled our community has Diamond Credit Union as a part of it.”
Position 2 – Marcia Levengood
“One of Diamond’s great qualities is their willingness to support the community though donations or staff selflessly volunteering their time. Although community contributions this year were thwarted by the pandemic, Diamond still stepped up when it was needed most. Whether through a monetary donation to our local hospitals for the purchase of PPE or volunteering to read a book to local students via social media, Diamond is a true gem in our community, and I’m honored to play a part in that story.”
Position 3 – Gary Yost
“Diamond’s response to the COVID-19 outbreak has been nothing short of remarkable; quickly taking action to protect both members and staff. Diamond staff have shown an extraordinary ability to adjust to new work environments quickly and efficiently, and in some cases altered job responsibilities to maintain the level of exceptional service they are known to provide. I am proud to do my part for the leadership of Diamond and the community, and I look forward to continue to do so.”
