Diamond employees have been gearing up for the season of giving back. The team has volunteered their time in a variety of ways. There is still time to help aid their efforts in helping the community as 2022 comes to an end.

Food Drives, Candy Drive, Toy Drive and Dog Supply Drive
There are plenty of collection drives happening at a few Diamond branches. If you’re looking for a way to help your community, stop into one of these branches to help.
The Muhlenberg branch is collecting canned and non-perishable items through Monday, December 5. All items collected will be donated to Berks Encore.
The Boyertown branch is collecting dry and canned food, as well as personal care items through Thursday, December 15. These donations benefit Preston’s Pantry Project.
The Pottstown branch is collecting candy that will be donated to Operation Smile. The candy will be sent to the troops to bring them joy. If you have any leftover Halloween candy that you’re looking to get rid of, you can drop it off here. Bring in your candy until Friday, December 2.
The Exeter Branch is collecting new toys for all ages through Thursday, December 1. The toys will be donated to Exeter Food Pantry’s Holiday Toy Drive.
The Royersford branch is accepting a variety of pet supply items that will benefit All 4 Paws Rescue. Donations will be accepted through Friday, December 16.
Habitat for Humanity ReStore
On November 5, Diamond’s mortgage team took to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Berks County. The team helped organize and clean items in the store. The ReStore is a nonprofit, home improvement and donation center. It sells new and gently used furniture to the community for a fraction of the price.
Wyomissing Financial Reality Fair
Diamond joined with other local credit unions to teach high school students about finances. At Reality Fairs, there are different stations that go over budgeting and real-world situations to helps students better understand finances.

Tower Health Trunk or Treat
The Tower Health branch team participated in a spooky Trunk or Treat event through the School of Health Science. Branch staff let their creativity shine through, and brought a homemade, candy dispensing, ATM.
Lottery Ticket Raffle for Relay For Life
During September, the Diamond team worked to sell tickets for two lottery ticket raffle baskets. Each basket was filled with 200 dollars’ worth of lottery tickets. At the end, two lucky winners took home their baskets, and Diamond raised over $10,000 for Relay For Life.
