Diamond Credit Union has named Lauren Harp as its new Director of Payment and Operational Services.
Harp began her journey with Diamond in 2009 as a part-time teller. In addition to working in Diamond’s Retail department, she has also worked in Diamond’s Member Contact Center and most recently, Deposit Operations.
“I started as a part-time teller with Diamond, not realizing that 16 years later I would have held a variety of positions within the organization that ultimately led me to earning the privilege of being the Director of Payment and Operational Services,” Harp said. “I have had the honor to lead and mentor many individuals and watch them grow with the company. Diamond has supported me through each stage of my life, and I look forward to my future with such an incredible organization.”
Harp has been essential to many internal projects that allow for continued member convenience and satisfaction. Among those include leading the initiative to change all of Diamond’s ATMs to a new processing system. She also played a pivotal role in gathering the necessary items to successfully roll out the new ITMs that are currently at Diamond’s Cumru branch.
Harp has participated in Diamond Credit Union’s Essentials of Management and Essentials of Leadership courses, as well as Dale Carnegie’s course about High Impact Presentations.
In addition to her accomplishments within Diamond, Harp has also supported Diamond’s volunteer efforts in the the community. Harp has participated in Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl for Kids Sake, Junior Achievement and The Diamond Charitable Foundation’s John M. Faust Charity Golf Invitational.
“Throughout Lauren’s time at Diamond she has shown loyalty, perseverance and passion,” Diamond Credit Union President/CEO Rick Patel said. “Her knowledge of Diamond and the financial industry as a whole shows that she will excel in this new position.”
