Diamond’s Pottstown Branch Manager, Amy F., was awarded the 2022 Outstanding Young Professional Award at the TriCounty Area Chamber of Commerce’s (TCACC) REACH Conference on November 3.
The Outstanding Young Professional Award is given to a woman that has worked within an industry for less than 10 years, is under the age of 35 and has made an impact in her profession through business, community and volunteering.
“Over the last eight and a half years of my journey at Diamond, I have worked with leaders who support me, embrace my, sometimes eccentric, ideas, and genuinely want to see me succeed,” Amy F. said. “To have my work recognized by this powerful community of individuals that I deeply respect feels surreal.”
Amy began working at Diamond in 2014 as a Teller. Since then, she has built a career as she moved up through the ranks. While Amy has spent a lot of time helping the community while working at Diamond, she most recently brought awareness to Unite for Her.
Unite for Her is a West Chester based organization that offers support to patients with breast and ovarian cancer. In August, Amy organized an event at Diamond where employees put together Care Boxes that were sent to 100 patients nationwide.
“Amy is a central part of the Diamond team,” Diamond President and CEO Rick Patel said. “Her passion to help others shines through every day, and she is nothing short of an outstanding young professional.”
The 2022 REACH Conference
REACH is a program through TCACC that was launched in 2019. The goal of the program is to connect professional women in the tri-county region to network, access professional development and provide educational opportunities.
The 2022 Reach Conference was held at La Massaria at Bella Vista in Gilbertsville, Pa. At the conference, speakers discussed stories of how they “crushed it” in their current and previous roles in the business industry.
The keynote speaker was Neen James, who is a consultant and author. James focuses on tips for paying attention to drive profitability, productivity and accountability.
Amy was one of six award recipients at the 2022 conference.
