Diamond Credit Union has been named one of Pennsylvania’s Best Places To Work 2021. The recognition marks the 6th consecutive year Diamond is on the list.
The Best Places to Work in PA is a survey and awards program that identifies PA’s best employers. Employees of PA businesses participate in a confidential survey and are asked to rate their company on aspects such as culture, innovation, work/life balance, and more. The data from the survey is then compiled into a report for employers to review where they succeed and where they can improve.
“Winning this award for the 6th consecutive year shows that Diamond is continuing to grow in many aspects,” Diamond President and CEO John Faust said. “I’m grateful to be part of such a welcoming atmosphere and thrilled that my colleagues feel the same way.”
The Best Places to Work in PA awards 100 organizations based on employee responses as well as company policies and values. On December 2nd, an official ranking will be announced at the hybrid award ceremony.

How companies were awarded Best Places to Work 2021
The awards program began in 2005 and is promoted by the Central Penn Business Journal and Lehigh Valley Business in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, Team PA Foundation, the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) – PA State Council and Best Companies Group.
Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in PA. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation.
The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in PA and also analyzed the data and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
The final 2021 rankings will be announced at the Best Places to Work in PA awards celebration which will be held live on stage with guests joining virtually on Thursday, December 2.
