Making a Difference
The late summer and early fall seasons were busy for Diamond volunteers. They dedicated many hours to volunteering in the community and raising awareness for local charitable organizations.
2025 United Way Day of Caring
On September 10, Diamond volunteers from different departments and branches spent the day at Rock Hollow Woods Park in Birdsboro, Pa. The team worked to clear out invasive grass and weeds to protect the newly planted trees on the park trails.
Schuylkill River Trail Clean Up
Diamond volunteers met at the Charles N. Marshall Trailhead on September 13 to help clean that portion of the Schuylkill River Trail. They cleared out weeds and overhanging tree branches and picked up any trash.
Boyertown Oktoberfest
September 13 was a busy weekend for Diamond. In addition to the trail cleanup, team members spent the afternoon at Boyertown’s Oktoberfest in Boyertown, Pa. Diamond had a pop-up tent setup with fun giveaways and information for community members.
Miller-Keystone Blood Drive at Pottstown & Exeter Branches
Diamond held two blood drives on September 18 at the Pottstown branch and the Exeter branch. Employees, community members and retirees joined to donate and save lives.

West Reading Fall Fest
Diamond’s Hospital, Wyomissing, Muhlenberg and Cumru branch all joined together on September 25 at the West Reading Fall Fest. They interacted with the community and handed out some free gifts for those that stopped by their tent.
Goatoberfest
On October 23, Diamond’s Exeter branch held its annual Goatoberfest. It’s an all-day event with baby goats, pumpkins and fall treats. The branch team collected donations for the Exeter Area Food Pantry’s toy drive.
Royersford Trunk or Treat
The Royersford branch participated in a Trunk or Treat event at Manderach Park in Limerick, Pa. on October 29. The theme of their trunk was mine craft, and they had costumes to match.
Hot Dog Days for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County
The Wyomissing branch team held two hot dog days on October 30 and October 31. All proceeds raised benefited Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berks County’s toy drive.
Friends Like Me Care Package Collection Drive
Diamond’s Human Resources team coordinated a collection drive for Friends Like Me throughout October. They collected items at every branch that helped create care packages for Friends Like Me. This is a program that is part of the PA Breast Cancer Coalition.
Making a difference in the community is something that a lot of Diamond team members are passionate about. Thank you to everyone that participates, donates and supports Diamond’s efforts. Because of you, the organization can continue to support the community.
