Diamond Credit Union Impacts Local Community Organizations
The Diamond Credit Union Team had many opportunities to impact local community organizations in the beginning of 2024. Employees served meals to the homeless, held collection drives, and volunteered. Keep reading to see what the Diamond Team was up to.
The Reading Hospital branch collected socks from January to March to benefit Reading Hospital’s A4 Podiatry Clinic. The Clinic helps patients with foot and ankle injuries and works towards having patients walk without pain. They were able to donate almost 2,000 pairs of socks to help the patients of the clinic.
Diamond teammates from a variety of branches and departments participated in several Financial Reality Fairs between January and March. Financial Reality Fairs are events held at local high schools that bring in employees from several local credit unions to teach students about financial literacy. The Diamond Team has volunteered at the following high schools and has plans to help out at more: Hamburg, Governor Mifflin, Schuylkill Valley and Muhlenberg.
Thank You
Diamond Credit Union is grateful for everyone that donates their time and resources to help the organization give back to the community. It would be impossible to impact local community organizations without you.
Giving back and helping others together…That’s Younity.
