Diamond Credit Union has named Cori Coleman as the Branch Manager of the new Cumru location that is set to open in April 2024.
This is Coleman’s eleventh year working for Diamond. She started her career as an Assistant Branch Manager in 2013 at the Exeter branch and was quickly promoted to Exeter Branch Manager in 2014. This will be Coleman’s first opportunity to facilitate the opening of a new branch.
“I am beyond excited to be part of the Cumru branch opening,” Coleman said. “This is an opportunity for me to share Diamond with Cumru and help community members with their finances.”
Coleman’s leadership is shown through her commitment to Diamond and overall success of the Exeter branch.
In addition to her dedication to Diamond, Coleman also has a strong involvement with community events. She serves as Diamond’s Liaison for Financial Reality Fairs held in Berks County. Her role is vital in communicating with other local credit unions to help teach high schoolers about financial literacy.
She has also been apart of fundraisers over the years for organizations like Exeter Food Pantry and Opportunity House, along with community outreach at Exeter’s Festival of Lights.
“Cori has done an excellent job over the last decade of spreading our vision and mission to the Exeter community.” Diamond’s President and CEO, Rick Patel said. “I have no doubt that she will bring her extraordinary leadership and communication skills to the Cumru branch.”
The Cumru Branch will be the Credit Union’s eighth branch, and will be located at 1030 Cedar Top Road in Reading, Pa., 19607. This is near the corner of Route 724 and Route 625.
The branch is 4,100 square feet and fully staffed with an award winning team. There will be self-serve kiosks that members will be able to utilize for their convenience.
Wilkinson and Smithson Promoted to Branch Manager
The new Cumru branch left room for growth within the other Diamond branches. Samantha Wilkinson was promoted to Branch Manager of the Pottstown branch, and Kelly Smithson was promoted to Branch Manager of the Royersford branch. Amy Frizzell transferred from the Pottstown branch to be the Branch Manager of the Exeter branch.
