Diamond Credit Union Ranked #7 in Greater Reading Chamber Alliance’s Business Excellence Awards

Diamond Credit Union received a Business Excellence award from the Greater Reading Chamber Alliance (GRCA) on May 13. The organization was recognized as the seventh top business in Reading, Pa. This is the 17th year that Diamond has been named as a Top 50 Business.

The GRCA selects the Top 50 Businesses from the Greater Reading Area every year. To be considered for a Business Excellence Award, businesses need to have a revenue of at least $1 million dollars for the three most recent fiscal years. The research is compiled by KPMG, LLC., a financial services firm.

The GRCA held an awards ceremony and dinner at Santander Arena on May 13. The Diamond team was joined by over 700 community members to take part in the space-themed event. Former NASA Astronaut, Mike Massimino, was the keynote speaker. In his speech, he went over the importance of overcoming rejection and being open to new ideas from colleagues.
