Lands’ End Business Recognizes Diamond’s Community Work

Diamond Credit Union has been named a Beyond Business contest winner by Lands’ End Business for its involvement in the community.

Lands’ End held the contest to celebrate the 25th anniversary of their uniform and work wear division, Lands’ End Business Outfitters. Diamond purchases staff apparel through the Dodgeville, Wis. company.

Diamond volunteers in Lands' End polos at the Credit Union’s golf tournament.

Volunteers posed for a photo in Lands’ End Business polo shirts at the Diamond’s 14th Annual Charity Golf Invitational in May.  The $37,000 raised for Relay for Life was a tournament record.

Customers submitted how they go Beyond Business to give back to the causes and communities they serve. Diamond submitted an entry that detailed its involvement with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life.  In addition to the percentage of employees who volunteer, impact was also a noteworthy benchmark in the contest. Diamond’s impact on Relay For Life was weighed. Similarly, the impact volunteering has had on Diamond employees was also considered.

This recognition included a $500 credit for apparel.

“We thank Lands’ End Business for recognizing Diamond Credit Union employees for all their hard work in our community,” said John Faust, President and CEO of Diamond Credit Union. “Lands’ End Business is a community-minded company which we certainly appreciate just as much as their outstanding service and excellent products.”

Since getting involved with the American Cancer Society Relay For Life, Diamond has raised nearly $850,000 through events like Winner’s Choice Designer Purse and Jewelry BINGO which will be held on July 13, 2018.

Going Beyond Business for the community we serve … that’s younity.
