Diamond Ranks Again in Best Places to Work

diamond ranks again best places to workDiamond Credit Union ranks again in 2018 as one of the Best Places to Work in Pennsylvania. Rankings will be revealed, and Diamond will be recognized at an awards banquet and ceremony on Thursday, November 29, 2018. This is the third consecutive year that Diamond achieved ranking in the top 100 companies in PA.

The awards program, created in 2000, is one of the first statewide programs of its kind in the country. The program is a public/private partnership between Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal.

“All Diamond employees should be proud of the work-place culture they have helped create and nurture,” said John Faust, President and CEO of Diamond Credit Union. “Their unwavering commitment to excellence makes Diamond a place we all look forward to coming to every day.”

This survey and awards program is designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania, who are benefiting the state’s economy and its workforce. Employers are categorized based upon the total number of employees they have in the United States from 15 to 99, 100 to 250, or more than 250. Diamond falls into the 100-250 employee category.

To be considered for participation, companies have to be: a for-profit or not-for-profit business; publicly or privately held; have a facility in Pennsylvania; have at least 15 employees working in Pennsylvania; and in business a minimum of one year.

Companies voluntarily enter the two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA. The first part, worth approximately 25%, evaluates each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics. Part two, worth approximately 75%, is an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies. Best Companies Group manages the registration and survey process.
