Team Diamond loves the holiday season because it is the perfect time to give back to the community to ensure that everyone has a happy holiday. Take a look at what the Diamond team has been up to recently in the community.
100% of Diamond Employees Pledge to United Way for 20 Consecutive Years
This fall, Diamond employees pledged donations to the United Way. For the 20th consecutive year, Diamond has celebrated 100% employee participation with donations totaling $26,389.25.
“I am very proud that this year was the 20th consecutive year supporting the United Way with 100% employee participation,” said John Faust, President/CEO of Diamond Credit Union. “My sincere thanks go out to all of our Diamond employees who donated and to the United Way for doing astonishing work for our community.”
Diamond’s annual pledge drive benefits the United Way of Berks County and the United Way of Greater Philadelphia/Southern New Jersey. Employees can donate to the community impact fund or choose to send their donation to a specific United Way organization.
Reading Hospital’s VIRTUAL Road Run
Diamond was proud to once again be the Tower Sponsor of Reading Hospital’s Road Run, hosted by The Friends of the Reading Hospital. This year’s run was virtual which still consisted of the standard 1-mile, 5K, half marathon, and the new 130 Mile Challenge. Races were completed on courses of the runner’s choosing between October 17th and October 30th.
All proceeds from this year’s event went towards the purchase of a Reading Hospital Mobile Mammography unit.
